Meet Ruth, our Optician

Hello! My name is Ruth Hansen, and I’ve been a licensed optician for over 25 years. I specialize in customized fittings, taking the time to make sure your eyewear is completely comfortable. My customers appreciate my assistance in the selection of frames and lenses, taking their style preferences, visual needs, and lifestyle into consideration.

I am very proud of the eyewear we produce (and sometimes custom design). Our independent lab provides the highest quality lenses, and we process them in-house to assure a precision fit into your carefully chosen quality frames.

I am licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Ophthalmic Dispensers, certified by the American Board of Opticianry, a Fellow of the National Academy of Opticianry, and a former instructor of Ophthalmic Dispensing at Raritan Valley Community College.
